P2 DAY FIVE

Hafiz is down with stomach flu today so he couldn't make it for project meeting. But we passed him his work so he can do over the weekend when he's feeling better.

We finalised our story today. Daiying did the new script in the format that Yoke Ee wanted. In the meantime, Syafiq help out with the proposal, and Ashley was thinking about what type of music to compose. We are going to use original soundtrack.

Dai Ying completed the script in no time and that was damn fast. We looked through and Ashley volunteered to edit the script.

I did the new character profiling, wardrobe and also edited the proposal.

As we were all stucked in the 3D lab for the whole day, we met our talents and briefed them earlier than planned. We took individual pictures of them.

As we were waiting for Ashley to edit the script, Syafiq and I decided to do a temporary poster. It was dope.

And we changed our title name like, again. It's called, THE LUGGAGE now.

Everybody did their own job and also helped one another. Right now, I have to do the shooting script. GOOD LUCK!

P2 DAY FOUR

Presentation went relatively well today. I think we need more rehearsal before we present because we were all on our feet today. Script was done the wrong way, idea not strong enough. Bahhs.

After presentation, we sat down and discussed again. All of us were having mental block at first due to insufficient sleep. THEN, Syafiq came up with an idea and more ideas started flowing in. I think the improved idea is very nice. We sticked to initial idea but added in what Syafiq and Ashley came up with.

There is still a missing part and we are all going to give in our idea tomorrow and see how can we piece the last part in. Damn excited. Totally different from the heartwarming genre that I always do. Coolios.

Everyone is so tired today so we gave this half day off for ourselves and tomorrow is a long, long day.

Busy, busy, busy.

P2 DAY THREE

It's a tiring day. We spent almost the whole day in the 3D lab discussing and doing our assigned roles. We made changes and rushed everything that has to be covered for tomorrow's presentation. Everything is in a rush but hopefully we'll be able to pull it off.

Everyone looked so tired today. Powerpoint slides, script, proposal, call sheet, etc. But overall, I think everyone is enjoying this. I hope so (:

P2 DAY TWO

So we met up today and we all had different ideas. I especially like Daiying's idea. The moral of the story that she chose was " Be content with your lot, one cannot be first in everything"

We are going to show how this sliver spoon fed guy who is never content with his life, always complaining and bossing his friends around. Till one day all his friends left him one by one. He was so devastated and started self reflecting. And then after much self reflection he actually chose to be a better man and went to help his maid with cooking or something like that.

We are still further developing the story and I really think that it's very cool. Hopefully Yoke Ee will like this idea. We shall see how it turn out (:

P2 DAY ONE

I was reading aesopfables.com and I chanced upon these stories; The Old Women And The Physician, The Seagull And The Kite, The Swallow And The Crow as well as The Man And His Two Sweethearts.

I was trying to work an idea out for each of the story but I was stuck.

Then again, I chanced upon The Dancing Monkeys.

The story goes like this,

A PRINCE had some Monkeys trained to dance.  Being naturally
great mimics of men's actions, they showed themselves most apt
pupils, and when arrayed in their rich clothes and masks, they
danced as well as any of the courtiers.  The spectacle was often
repeated with great applause, till on one occasion a courtier,
bent on mischief, took from his pocket a handful of nuts and
threw them upon the stage.  The Monkeys at the sight of the nuts
forgot their dancing and became (as indeed they were) Monkeys
instead of actors.  Pulling off their masks and tearing their
robes, they fought with one another for the nuts.  The dancing
spectacle thus came to an end amidst the laughter and ridicule of
the audience.

I think it's pretty cool because the moral of the story stated on the website was "Not everything you see is what it appears to be." which is to me, true.

It's something like don't judge a book by it's cover kind of thing. Mankind are too used to judge everything they see. For example, people tend to judge people according to their dressing and often they end up disappointing themselves.

From this, I developed a storyline.

I will have this main character which is Albert. He's a very good looking guy and everybody loves him. He treats people around him nicely but what they do not know is that he is actually a physcopath and he loves watching porn and had been secretly taking his female friends pictures all along. One day he was sick so didn't attend work so his friends decided to pay him a visit and when they went into his room, they got a shocked and left hurriedly.

This is just a rough idea so I shall let my groupmates know tomorrow and see what they say about it.
